*The name is Italian for archive. It's pronounced ar-CHEE-vo. We get asked.

South Africa's records management industry hadn't changed much in a generation. Legacy providers stored boxes and little else. Compliance consultants gave advice without implementation. And the businesses that needed help most were left to figure it out alone — just as Copilot, classification, and the rest of the AI wave started arriving.

Arcivo was founded to change that: a genuinely full-service offering under one roof, across three pillars — Document & Records Management, AI-Ready Records, and Information Governance. One team, one standard, zero excuses. For organisations that want all three run for them, by one team, on one bill, there's a tier for that too — we just don't pretend it's a different service.

We operate nationally, but we think locally. Every client gets direct access to people who understand their industry, their regulatory obligations, and the South African business context they operate in — including the AI tools their teams are starting to roll out.

Clients hand us what's most sensitive about their business: their records, their data, sometimes their reputation. We don't take that lightly. We'd rather tell you a deadline is tight than miss it. We operate in full POPIA compliance: appointed Information Officer, published PAIA manual, compliant processes throughout. We apply the same information security standards to our own data that we apply to yours: encrypted systems, role-based access, regular staff training. We're CSD-registered, and we actively support transformation through how we hire and who we buy from.
